Father's Day Poem For Dad
...
Not so long ago,
When i was small & slow.
U taught me to have a strong will
and that’s the way to have my happiness fulfil.
Sometime later not so long ago,
When i commenced to grow.
You wiped away my tears,
& chased away my fears.
As time , she did eventually flow,
You helped me grow.
Your gait is slow now,
But you can still gauge me somehow....
You still put up with my occasional rumbling
& my blaring
You stand by me when things get tough,
& make me feel safe even when the going is rough.
I know you will always adore me,
I know you will be there for me....
Happy father’s day Dad,
Wish i could fathom my love for you Dad
