Fathers and Daughters

Fathers and daughters
A special, unbreakable, bonding love
Fathers and daughters
He's her hero, she's his princess, both blessed with help from above
Fathers and daughters
Not always eye to eye as they navigate how to see each other's best self in the best of lights
Fathers and daughters
Many shared laughs, a few tears;a few fights
Fathers and daughters
He's always got her back
Fathers and daughters
She rights his world when it goes out of Whack
Complicated, delicate, fragility, tenacity
Fathers and daughters
He hides behind his gruff, rough, papa bear
Fiercely protective and stern,
but his pride comes through his smile
Fathers and daughters
She knows he loves her all the while.
