Fatherhood

Can you see that little boy in fear while his sister is crying because daddy is no where in
sight?

You claimed to be a man? But what about trying to be a father, and now doing what you
know is supposed to be right…?

Why do you turn your back on your children just because you do not get along with your
babies’ mama..?

You helped to bring them into this world, so why just up and leave to abandon them in a
world fulfilled of drama..?

A real man stays around to make sure that his child is raised correctly and to watch as that
child grow up..

So take part in your child’s life because no parents should want their kids’ childhood to grow
up so rough..!

Why not take some time out to shower your child with love, care, and show that unity..

Because we all know too well that we already have too many missing fathers out there in our
community …!!

Blessed indeed is the man who hears gentle voices calling him father ….!

A very thoughtful and mature perspective on the importance of nurturing children with a father's love. Very nice, Curtis! I'll check out more of your work. Love, Carolyn
