Father

I reached out to you but you kept slamming the door, I kept thinking there's got to be more... I was so afraid of you and your anger I just couldn't live, I was so empty inside I just couldn't give... We've climbed past that with a brand new day, you used to sing to me when I was little you say Thank you, Dad, for what you did for me for all the things you say, how you help me to see all your pain inside, I understand now let me take you by the hand....
