Father

Father let me fall,
I'm just too tired to stand,
Now all my strength is gone,
So please let go my hand...
Father I appreciate,
The life you've given me,
The chance to be more than
myself,
In every breath I breathe...
Father I must thank you,
For your blessed creed,
That I passed down in scripture,
To your children after me...
So father now I ask you,
If you can set me free,
Since I lived my life thru you,,
Please take me unto thee...
He said my journeys ended,
And had never left my side,
Then let my hand go gently,
As I fell toward the sky,
