Fate Versus Faith

Fate yells “Whatever will be… will be…”
Asserting good luck's asset with destiny’s end upheld.
Impossibilities’ inevitability invites no challenge; just going with the flow
Totally yielding to wherever the stars direct; never daring…
However, faith* in the Almighty hearkens to heavenly hope’s assurance
Led with perseverance for utmost performance-progress
Endeavoring despite rigors to prevail over misfortune-tellers’ sentence
Determined to triumph against horoscope’s curse!
*Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. June 26, 2018 2nd place,"Eight Lines of Fate..." Poetry Contest Sponsored by Silent One; judged on 7/19/2018.

Praise God. Thanks for the opportunity to be a part of your sponsored contest, and to express my point as far as "faith in God" is concerned, in juxtaposition with fate. God bless you.
