Fate To Blame
Like the dreams I once had
That never came true
I lay in the darkness
Thinking of you
As I fade away into the night
I’ll be long gone
Before the morning light
I won’t hear you call my name
Only a cruel twist of fate to blame
The love we once had
Somehow swept away
Oh, such a terrible price to pay
For the dreams we shared
And the love we had
I think of it now and it hurts so bad
I miss you so much
That smile of yours
Still time rushes forward
And closes those doors
What’s left of my hears
I can’t seem to find
Yet nothing can erase you
You’re still in my mind
