Fate of Goblin Kin

Listen close young children dear
gather your blankets and draw closer near
i have words to speak to you this darkly night
though they need be said i do not wish them to fright
out tonight stalks the goblin men
they are devil born and monster kin
in the darkness they sneak and creep
to eat little children while they sleep
take care and keep one eye pried
sleep together close and with eachother hide
the goblin men come and now they strike
but never fear, it's the dawn's light they don't like
up with the sun's rays the new morning will peek
searching the dark corners of your rooms where the goblins sneek
then into stone and into dust they die
back into the shadows where all monsters lie
