Fate

Our fate is what we make it,
Things we say and do,
Changing the course of nature,
Brings life or death to you,
But a sweet gentle nature,
Blessing love and joy,
Will bring a whole new future,
The world that’s not destroyed,
Gentle words inspiring,
Love that blesses kind,
Bringing through our children,
Hope for all mankind,
Speaking words of wisdom,
Planting seeds in life,
That waters the next generation,
With love and peace, not strife,
Unloving words can hurt us,
A match to set alight,
Will burn away forgiveness,
Leaving nothing in our sight,
So putting love before us,
kindness ever true,
Sets the course of nature,
Happiness in full view,
With all these acts of kindness,
Forgiving as we go,
Could even become infectious,
Contagious, I don’t know,
So why not try this theory,
Why not make a start,
With one random act of kindness,
You might have a change of heart.
