Fate

We always seem to try
To make things go our way
Yet when we mess with fate
There's always a price to pay

You can't force someone to think
You are someone you're not
For the truth always comes out
Then, in your lies you're caught

Too often are we blinded
By what we only choose to see
Then we always seem to find
It just wasn't meant to be

Just live from day to day
Who knows what the future may hold
Let's try not to become uptight
For we cannot change life's mold
