Fate

If all I did was make you feel
electric that first time.
Then why would you come secretly back
and make my mind rewind?

An innocent filing cabinet
Safe place to hide your thoughts.
Like lightening your brain exploded
You seemed a bit distraught.

Pretty certain it appeared
antibiotics that you you needed
Expectations you really wanted
Your eyes seem like they pleaded.

Complications then transpired
Genetic bodies bonded
Crucial confrontations
Constructed priceless looks responded.

Many years after
Addressing emotions buried
A power that influenced others
Maybe one day married?

A method of explaining
Individual ways of talking
I've always read your eyes
It kept me strongly walking.

If all I did was make you feel
Something more than just groping.
I hope that memory stays within
As your struggling through hard times coping.
