Fashion Trend Rant

WARNING - THIS IS NOT A PC POEM.  THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE LANGUAGE BUT THE PICTURE IT PAINTS MAY BE TOO GRAPHIC FOR SOME.  THIS IS JUST AN OLD MAN'S RANT ON A FASHION TREND HE FINDS APPALING.

The current ‘gansta’ fashion trend
Where pants are worn below your end
Started as a prison sign
Stating that you didn’t mind
And you were willing now to share
Access to your derriere
And you would gladly be their punk
And let them place things in your trunk

Maybe boys don’t comprehend
The message that these low pants send
Not that you’re tough and ‘gansta’ style
But that you like to make men smile
If that’s not what you’re trying to say
Cover your butt and keep it that way
Pull up your pants; come to your senses
Or wait to feel the consequences
