A luminescent shimmer of stars,
bright as they were dancing
all aligned in perfect formation
With whispers in the air, romancing.
I thought I caught the subtle shift,
Time elapsing into space
As the moonlight drew its radiance
It was a delectable little taste.
How could I ever dare to dream,
When the universe is vast and unknown
I drown in anticipation
on what we can never own.
I possess a sense of fascination,
like a child struck with awe
To confiscate a moment of clarity
so natural and raw.
