Farewell November .

The naked oak , without his cloak
Silhouettes the November sky ;
As his wardrobe of the Autumn
Lay on the ground near~by .
The icy hold of Winter cold
Has yet to pierce the air ,
Like the sting of love's forgotten call
Too late for me to share .

The flight of Spring on swallows wing
Is a calendar away ;
With children's yuletide wishes
Being assembled for that day .
As the hollybough, prepares just now
To adorn the Winter room
My wish is for Summer sunshine ,
And the orchards scented bloom .

Your wish is soon to bloom! (had to go way back to November to find one of yours to read) Get some more footles or something going. I gotta have more of your stuff, my friend. This one rocks! Luv, andrea
