Farewell Dear Friend
Now a new day has dawned for you.
One with a brighter tomorrow.
And though we are sad,
In our hearts we are glad
For the joy that has replaced your sorrow.
And so we bid you farewell dear friend
As you depart from this earthly place;
Onward to higher climes
Sped on angel's wings,
In the warmth of God's loving embrace.
We lost a dear friend recently.I wrote this to say goodbye.
