Farewell
This sad farewell of tomorrow
Casts a darkened shadow
And even amoungst friends,
A smile is shaken.
Haunting us all with this sorrow
comes the inevitable 'goodbye',
Leaving a feeling of aloneness
And a fear of a friendship taken.
Hidden beneathe is all my grief
Happiness appears ut is weak
But you need not worry
I'll be by your side all the while
A simple sigh of sweet relief
As i know I'll see you once more
And i know forever we'll be friends
And because f that I smile
