Farewell
I'm not sure what it means
For us to say our goodbyes
That I don't search your name,
& to your words, I'll close my eyes?
I'll tell you I cant stop writing
You can get the update if you read
But I won't expect, from you, anything
Cuz I think I'm stuck here with the weeds
It's strange to say goodbye
To a stranger you know so well
I can't explain, but I don't understand
Just that I know this is farewell
***As much as it hurts me to say goodbye
I know it's the best for you
So I hold the tears in, and I smile
Because I'm doing it for you***
