Fare Thee Well

A dance with unspeakable joy
Loud laughter of peace
Amidst the jagged edge bounds
Down the unnerving hallowed
 Grounds of death he fell
Painful touch of a blessing divine
Ambitions tide gloomed with deceit
Gone with the wind a beautiful dream
Precious life, delicate life
The untouchable sword of farewell
The fading light shot diamonds in his eyes
A painful long kiss goodnight
The helpless figure dying to survive
Too good for the world, too long to last
A lasting song of eternity
Tears of a painful truth
Daddy, daddy, wake up
My weak beckoning voice
The half-closed eyes full of love
A love that will last
He was indeed going home
My best friend, my father the hero
I will keep you here in my heart
For now and for all eternity
Fare thee well.
