Far From the Frown

B-ed of flowers as the love is shared
E-arly since '96 January seventeenth;
R-oses in red, white, and yellow
N-eed the rain to feel content.
A-lways and forever we'll be
R-emaining tough standing in the rain;
D-evoted to each other, even if at times grimacing in pain.

&

M-oon may not always be full,
A-t times it's half or in crescent,
I-n a love of a lifetime, changes are in a rise or in descent.

L-et the Lord hold us together,
E-ven when the sun is down;
E-ach day after every night,
N-ew dawn smiles far from the frown.
