Far From Fair

All's fair in love and war I beg to differ When I read this proverb It got right up my sniffer LOVE All's fair in love It certainly is not It all depends entirely On the lover that you have got You may love a man With all your heart When life becomes mundane He will soon depart WAR All is fair in war Only to a warmonger Can't they see the carnage Children everywhere dying from hunger All is Not fair in Love or war This statement I find Silly I did not pen this Famous Proverb The writer was John Lyly

Wonderful way you crafted this poem.. But I differ with you.. All is fair in love, if it is not a one sided love.. And if you enter a war, you have only two options..

Thank you for sharing your point of view which I respect. Regarding war are the options kill or be killed ( if so it is not fair to either party) or go to war or not ( what option has an individual got if he objects to go ) Wars are caused by unrest brought about by power and greed ....
