Far From Content

I think You, God, felt guilty for far too long,
keeping us hostage though you knew it was wrong..
Confined in our fear, Lost in our Hope..
Too brave to give up, too weak to cope..
Im alone, Im free, but Im far from content..
5 years.. Where has the time went?
Do we rely on machines, and the people behind them?
more important are the friends, and the memories behind them.
Is there a reason for suffering? Please answer my prayer.
I've believed in you forever, God, are you really there?
My angel dropped in, I think to save me from falling..
But I could tell in her voice, That you God, were stalling
I know life is pain, ive seen enough to be sure.
But God, do your work, deliver the cure..
Maybe God, if youre listening, you could level with me..
Just take all that I have, and set him free..
