Enjoyed reading this one today..Brings a memory of spring's flowers of Wisteria, honeysuckle, and lilies...Thanks for stopping by and reading my work about terror and fear..Those were happenings in my life...I think that the cat was actually a BobCat and the rattlesnake was very real in my herb garden..I have written a poem or two about the experience..The only weapon that I had was a knife about 8 or 10 inches long..I tried to discourage it with the knife..Sara

At first I did not know it was a rattlesnake..I thought a colorful chicken snake..Then I saw the diamond shape head and I thought copperhead..Then it coil to strike and rattled..Then I knew that I was sticking a rattlesnake..Sara
