Famous Last Line
Old Poem: Afraid of Death
He hides under a table,
afraid of meeting aging,
illness, war, black magic……
He clings to the comfort
of his solitudeness;
“death might be near”,
he whispers with a shiver
in his heart.

New Poem: Afraid of Death II

dwells a storm which he,
the only one,
can feel as it wrecks havoc
on the things he holds dear – his love life
and the sunset he loves to gaze
every now and then.
Now,
he can’t stand being close to his lover
and the sunset;
he’s afraid that death
may snatch him away from them
any time…
