Family Getaway

Holiday times, the night before
 excitement filled with dreams 
 of fun-games splosh splashing
 and all the attractions.

 Before our family getaway,
 before we stray into a cheerful
 sway. We must adjust our heads,
 like a Rubik's cube, fixed!
  
 It's that early
 morning struggle "have we packed
 everything?" "Will we fit it all in?"
 It’s a brain trainer, an early morning
 puzzle, "oh what a kerfuffle.
