False Prophets and True Hope

When searching you must take care
The answer is always out there

Even if it’s not what you are
It's ok it’ll only leave a scar

The truth hurts when it can’t justify
Everything you’ve done and you’re forced to ask why

Take comfort in the thought
That you probably won’t be caught

God is watching everyone
You can’t be judged because you’ve already won

Religion is your veil
Subject the naïve and you’ll never fail

What would Jesus do,
If he were you?

Would he still be a martyr then?
Or would he be a footnote amongst the hearts of men?

It is our ambitions,
That can solve our ambitious contradictions

The problems we face
Are ours to erase

God only measures as high
As your will to survive
