False Awakening

Your hair is the golden rays of sunshine
That whisper through the window
The dust that glows around the moon at night
The crimson clouds of sundown
That give birth to the evening
Your smile that hides the shadows out of sight

I fall into forever, never to remember
The butterfly that wakes into a dream
But that's my truth to swallow, at least until tomorrow
When night returns this king unto his queen

And so a secret kiss
Brings madness and a taste of bliss
Your every charming word turns my world a little more
Then silently its drawn
The shadow on the wall
The moonlight hits your eyes my disguise falls to the floor

Dance me to the music that's playing in my head
Everytime I see you
That's my wish for tomorrow, and I shall wait in sorrow
Til night returns this king unto his queen
