Falling To the End

Never winning this
No way of ever beating this
To attack this
Only one way out of this

In my life I’ve never felt so lost
Breaking life like I can find some joy
Tell myself that I can’t be afraid
Been fearing this ever since that day

In my life I’ve never known what’s next
Something bad or something to impress
When I looked I had to step away
Been so long since I had turned this way

Hate myself for knowing what I am
Hate my friends for taking both my hands
Hate myself for thinking just of me
Hate the end, but cry for it to be

I’ll settle for some hope, cure my broken bones
Step into the light and step away from home
I’ll look onto the ground, see the shadows move
When I look around there’s only anger and abuse
It becomes me
Dark is all I see

Denial is all that’s left, excuses in my head
The only way to win is to join up with the dead
Denial is all I speak, excuse is taking me
No matter what I do, I just can’t ever be free
Wait for the end of me
Hell is all I see
