Falling On Soft Times
Love cushions my landing.
Looking back at all the hard knocks,
On my life's door.
Walking out now from desperation's dark tunnel.
Welcomed so sweetly by her true light,
Enfolded by her delicate touch.
She spreads her wings,
Lifting me beyond all sorrows.
In to compassion's sky,
She was there all along,
Watching me,
From her heavenly pedestal.
Just couldn't see her,
Through those mortal clouds.
Yet she's here now drowning my pain,
In that vast ocean of her forever.
