Falling Leaves

Swept from their loft
Carried high on the wind
Sun kissed colors
Cascading limb to limb.
Dancing as if a violin heard
Crazily twisting ,with each turn
Back to earth where all began,
Grains of sand, end to end.
Filtered light through the trees
Captures magic that it sees
Gently blowing to and fro
Sweeping leaves as it goes.
Catch it hurry- in my mind
Cradled softly for all time
Nature's treasure sure to please
By eyes of wonder, on bended knees.
