Falling From Grace

Sacred heart,
Heart of mine.
Dwindled by
The Pace of time.

Beating heart
That skips a beat.
Draw regret
That brings defeat.

Ponder thoughts
That I feel.
Wounds inside
That need to heal.

Bringing down
The vacancy.
Of the life
That I seek.

Paranoid
With this all.
Without grace
I will fall.

Hunger for
The pain to come.
To rid away
All thats numb.

To hear a voice
In my head.
That says to leave
Is what I dread.

'Cause without hurt
And all the pain.
The pain that comes
That makes me sane.

With myself
I would not know.
What to do
Or where to go.

To abide
With this all.
Is my choice
As I recall.

So I remain
At this pace
Waiting 'til
I fall from grace...
