Falling

I'm falling. Falling. Falling out of a dream into the cool jeweled ocean. An under world of cities of gray and blue. A faded memory. A falling person. Do I know you? Why are you here? Have you come to this dark city for the same reason as I? Were you a baffled being with no place to go? Did you feel as if a tidal wave had come and swept you away? My life flowing down this cold body of water. Where have I gone? I can't see myself. I know I'm here because I see you sinking to your death. White pale face, long brown hair, eyes widden in terror as you free fall to your death. I thrash through the weight of the world holding me down as I try to save your sad soul. I cannot move, cannot breath, cannot feel. I am nothing. I am dead because of the water swallowing me into it's beastley stomach. Did you live? Did you find your will? Did you make it through it's jaws of death? Were you stronger than I? Me I will never know because I've been swallowed and now I'm facing every monster that haunted my benelovent soul. No way out No more light No more knowing
