Fallen Leaves

Leaves in the fall have a life of their own.
They dance they swirl they can never go home.
They don’t act like someone who’s life is done.
They live in the moment again and again.
Singing and dancing on the winds song.
Not realizing for a moment their time has come.

Leaves linger and then f a l l, and it seems like it's end, but their journey has just begun. They nourish the earth. Death for a time, but then comes spring. :) They have a purpose, indeed. Your thoughts caress the page with elegance and grace, Nancy. My best to you. Hugs, Brandy
