Fallen Angels

While I was watching the news today.
I heard of a little Angel taken away.
She was one of a beautiful set of three.
And their lives together will no longer be.
The bond they have it still won't be broken.
Even though their whole lives a void will be open.
Their ten year old sister was watching them play.
When a speeding car was heading their way.
She yelled for them to hurry and run.
She risked her own life but could only save one.
One of them died and ones bones were all broken.
The third girl was fine, but of only one has she spoken.
They think that she knows that one of thems dead.
She feels in her heart and knows in her head.
The lives of these four girls will never be the same.
One life was cut short and the other took the blame.
The ten year old needs to know she did what she could.
So she can grow up and live the life a ten year old should.
I wanted to write a poem that was funny.
But when I heard this story I just felt to crummy.
I just can't seem to get those pictures out of my head.
Knowing that one of those little girls wound up dead .
