Fallen Angel

Fallen Angel
By Laura D
2.18.2017

What really holds us back from the darkest corners of our minds
Is broken time when we forgot to shine and fell in line
Carried by the wheels of armageddon, we sail to the ever-distant bridge
The gap between hurricane seas and melodies of privelidge

We cross our hearts forever where genders can align
Redisign this broken chalk outline where lost boys never lie
To die again; i'd be just fine, without my nightime lulliby
The voice of a fallen angel; the face that never cries
