Fallen

Each and every breathe
a gasp, jerked beneath the relentless current
wait! fresh air!
denied, burdens, to much to bare
I once looked far beyond the stars
your ordinary selfish dropout
aching, praying to the god I dont believe
envisioning, who i believed I was meant to be
yet now, each, every jolt
seems to take much more toll
noticed heartbeat, tingling, thoughts, disrupted
Constance, almost it seems
I will find my path
I will defeat deaths wrath
I will look back now and again
and thank God, i was never the fallen.
