Fall

Sitting by the river
The morning chill made me shiver
Watching the morning come awake
Got the evil eye from a passing snake
I whisper keep on going little brother
But you could be a mother
Hearing the water as it passes by
As the sun rises through the sky
 Life got me high
Fall is in the air
Can't help but stare
So many colors to see
In this land of the free
So many different colors of red and yellows
Made me feel so mellow
Wanted to share it with the fellows
Thank you for your gift
The beauty of it gave my heart a lift
All the colors of a rainbow
What a show
But now I must go
