Falcon Rollers

I have a little birdie
And we have a little nest
She came up fast
Now with wings so strong
But a true nester
She’ll be the strong

I am the deep roller
I fly higher than most all
Way above the rain clouds
Where lightning’s in a ball
Soaring so graceful and plummeting
I zoom to the tundra to be free

Two deep rolling fliers
Can’t make it a go
They would crash into the landscape
Together falling fast below
Forgetting of the impending doom
Tangled in their song as all

But my shallow roller
Oh her trance mid air
Flaps down descending
Floating without one care
She dives so grace like
Full of upward air

We falcon bombers
Making a family pair
I the fast and free spirit
Her true wings of control
Complimenting one another
Down and down we roll
