Fake People

They only had time for me when they were in a crowd
and they could show how great they were so all would think them proud
very different scenes in private laughing out so loud
it's not their friends they care about but those rarely around

Nick, your poem resonates deeply, unveiling the facades people wear in public versus their true selves in private. Your words capture the essence of insincerity and the shallowness of those who seek validation through appearances. The contrast you paint between public persona and private reality is both powerful and thought-provoking, shedding light on the authenticity that's often lacking in certain circles. Brilliantly penned! - Daniel
