Fake Hippie

fake hippie

you call yourself a hippie
but hippies are all about love
and all you really know about
mmm, are all the drugs

you're really good at your music
and growing your hair out long
but you can't even look at me
unless you're holding your bong

ooh, fake hippie
who are you trying to fool
fake hippies
you've forgotten the Golden rule

so you know about the peace sign
and walking a police line
but you keep running from love
because you put yourself above..everyone else

and you don't think you need me
but someday you're gonna see
after you've gotten all fat and bald
you can't even get no more booty calls

awe you fake hippie
what are you trying to prove
you fake hippies
you'll be forgotten like yesterday’s news..yes you will
