Faithfulness, Parable of the Talents
The Parable of The Talents speaks to whomever we might be. Investments are not 'trivial' and must not be allowed to rust. Whether rich or poor, male or female, slave or free, God has given certain gifts to each of us.
Father knows best how to distribute His gifts and He loves us all. There's no greater choice than for us to put them to their best use. It should not matter whether the endowment to us are large or small. It appears in the parable that God has a low tolerance for an excuse.
There is no doubt that God recognizes and rewards fruitfulness. History shows that God always demonstrates His goodness, but the lesson of 'The Talents Parable' is about faithfulness. God's desire is that we use our gift and share in His happiness.
