Faith In the Unknown
Collaboration with Marcello Eans
We’ve come a long way since the early days of man,
But, from a moral point of view, there’s still a lot to learn.
We’ll never have all the answers in the palm of our hand.
The right to more forward as a people has to be earned.
No one’s concerned unless there’s gain or benefit.
If you sow in the dark, you shall reap in the light.
Let’s supply a helping hand to fellow man & then forget.
Being led by love in our deeds helps one to sleep at night.
After a full night of rest, in the morning when we wake,
Our thoughts begin anew and our conscience is clear.
Knowing right from wrong and which path to take
Is what guides us through a world with so much to fear.
Words spoken with caution, careful not to offend.
Hidden agendas & smiles with ulterior motives.
Aware of the flattery present and the message we send,
Sincerity nearly extinct and only few take notice.
