Faith In Life

Through fading light
And falling rain
And hope's last torch upon the pain
I'm unstirred by any winds of strife
Because I acknowledge the love in my life.
I have had enough of life's sorrows
I am ready for every day tomorrows
My joys will be countless like the waves of the sea
Just knowing that there are people that love me.
My days will be brighter
My loads will get lighter
For infinite good will soon be here
With the infinite hope my heart holds dear.
My faith is like the great fir tree
Whose love roots the good and shadows the mistakes in me.
I do not look back to ponder right or wrong
Instead I write my life a new song.
Life is not held by any bolt or bar
It's simply free and looking for a special star
As sweet as winds that drift
Is that breeze that only the love in life can lift.
A few careless footsteps along the way
You think would lead my heart astray
But I am not one to be shut away
I look at tomorrow as just a new day.
What's next is just a prize to be won
Though no one said that it was all about fun
To trip and fall is a new lesson learned
Brush yourself off and prepare for the life you have yearned
Let your spirit flow with the guiding wind
For it's all in your mind that your soul feels pined.
Step forward now into the light
And take a look at the beautiful sight.
