Faith In God

Art by Dolores Develde

In prayer, exhaustion and depression
fade like darkness at dawn. My regret
lifts like fog in spring and aggression
drifts away with the clouds at sunset.
If my shimmering skies lose their gleam,
I find faith in God who gently holds
me in His heavenly glow. I beam
in the love that He never withholds.

To know God is the path to wisdom. I believe it is also the fountain of inspiration. You are indeed blessed.

Wonderful writ and so true: 'He lifts me up from the dust of poverty and from the ash-heap of destitution...' Psalm 113:7. Much better than 'amusements' or 'entertainments,' G-d comforts our souls, settles our minds and hearts. Thanks, Gershon
