Faith flies to this heaving breast in sorrows, Strengthening its hope for brighter days Will take up the position of valorous ways, Prepare the journey for brighter tomorrows Wise the soul that seldom trouble borrows, Knows the residence where value stays, Faith flies to this heaving breast in sorrows Strengthening its hope for brighter days. Consider how the distant horizon narrows The future far, far ahead and dimly lays Down the path where the lone shadow plays Among the waiting straight plowed harrows, Faith flies to this heaving breast in sorrows. written August 29, 2021

What a gorgeous repetitive poem - especially this line "Faith flies to this heaving breast in sorrows."

I wrote it for an AP contest, and when I got back to AP the contest had ended. Oh, well.....

Thanks, Delice. It was quite an adventure. I wrote it for a contest on another site and by the time I got to the contest to enter it the contest was over! My luck!
