Faith and Love
Faith and love go hand in hand when we are all alone.
The emptiness inside your heart can have a different tone.
When God is there to help you through the shadows of the day.
Somehow blue skies will shine above when all around is grey.
Tomorrow doesn't always come for us here on this earth.
The more we live, the more we know it's been that way since birth.
A reconciled acceptance of the truth we can't deny.
The only explanation that we get when we ask why.
To have faith you must believe that things will be alright.
To know love it helps to have someone to share the night.
But faith and love together will hold you in God's hand.
For you are never by yourself when this, you understand.
