Faith
My twin sister and I were seperated at birth.
I've only seen one picture of her.
We don't look exactly the same.
But we do share one unique trait.
Above our ankle, there's a birthmark.
Of a perfect shaped little heart.
Her name is Faith and mine is Hope.
Our mother was young, that's all I know.
One evening I decided to go to church.
Like always I prayed, I would soon meet her.
Afterwards I decided to go for a walk.
I stopped to eat at a small restaurant.
The waitress asked what I would like to drink.
Couldn't help but notice, her staring at my feet.
She hurried off like something went wrong.
She came back later and stood by my table.
She set down my beverage,
Then raised up her pants leg.
I looked up at her shirt to see her name.
And I couldn't believe it, her name was Faith!
I jumped up from the table, to hug my sister.
We were both holding tight of the other.
We began telling about our lives.
She has children and is a good wife.
We have been inseparable since that day.
Thank you Lord for bringing back my twin sister Faith.
