Faith

FAITH

Faith glows in darkness where nothing can be seen,
Faith goes on a highway where no one else has been.
Faith looks for the sunshine when storm clouds fill the sky,
Faith sees a great future, of a better by and by.
Faith takes gloom and sorrow, turns it to sweet peace,
Faith takes chains that bind us and gives us release.
Faith says, “God can do it if nobody can”;
Faith sees a mighty ending in His mighty plan.
Faith looks to a Saviour, hanging on a tree,
Faith says, “I believe it; that man died for me!”
Faith looks to a graveyard where He used to lay,
Faith says, “He is risen! He did not there stay!”
Faith takes sickened bodies and sees them well and whole,
Faith sees circumstances all under God’s control.
Faith is e’er rewarded by those who eagerly seek,
Faith is part of being surrendered, humble, meek.
Faith comes oh quite strangely--through trials and testing times;
Faith works toward better patience in every heart and mind.
Faith shown through works to others is healthy and alive;
Faith through one’s life will help him life’s trials to survive.
Faith, yes faith is the answer for every single day;
“Forsaking All I Trust Him” for each step on my way!
