Fairytale Nightmare
I still returned to you, every time, even if i didnt know if it was the right way,
I turned back to check on you, every single day,
I even took a few steps back in my life, to help you, to assist,
I knew you didn't want me there, but still i persist,
When you were down, i flashed you a smile,
and yours accompanied mine, just for a while,
When you were stuck in a sticky situation,
I helped you out, with a silence of communication,
But the one time I called out your name,
You left me hangin' things just were'nt the same,
I begged you to stand there, but instead you watched me fall,
into a pit of darkness, my existence lost meaning from it all,
I spiraled out of this world,
and i saw clearly, i was not your girl,
I looked into your emotionless eyes, and saw a dark place,
I rushed you shake you with much haste,
I saw nothing come of my efforts of my tries,
I knew this was the end of our "almost" goodbyes,
sadly I turned and walked away,
I was hoping just to hear you say:
"Linh wake up this is all just a dream"
I just wanted to hear you say, nothing is as it seemed...
But I never woke up from my nightmare,
and still you seem just not to care,
you were a dream come true to me,
But now my life without you is all I see.
