Fair Weather Friends
Always beware of a fair weather friend,
Who act like they care, but only pretend.
They'll pat your back and smile a lot,
But all they want is what you've got.
When things are good, they come around.
When things go wrong, they can't be found.
They'll let you pay all the time,
And never seem to have a dime.
They use you up and when they go,
They leave you for a better show.
They're no friend, don't you see?
At best, they are your enemy.
So, put them all far behind.
One true friend is hard to find.
But when you do, hold on fast.
They're the only ones that last.
