Faint of Heart

6/19/22

This is not for the faint of heart
Another brain fart
While working by a hay cart
Near waters full of grey sharks
At night it all turned way dark
In order to get it done, had to take part
Occasionally began the great march
Many may bark
Often regretting what they start
Trying to interpret cave art
Intent is like that of Braveheart
Always got to keep my blade sharp
Close and far from any state park
As well as K-Mart

Confucius said
It's nothing new friend
Many do offend
Always those who pretend
As well as somebody out to do you in
I can't afford to lose again
I need to shoot ahead
To the end
Until I'm truly dead
No need for a Sudafed
Far too often it's lies not the truth spread

Not the same
As moth to flame
Too many caught in chains
Surviving off rotten grains
Suffering with no way to stop the pain
Tormented through a lot of games
Benefiting others by ill-gotten gains
Taking advantage of those with common aims
